Employment and Training Specialists

Funders

Our services are funded from public sector sources, all of which are committed to tackling economic disadvantage amongst unemployed people and doing so by providing them with the advice, guidance, training and skills needed to participate in today’s ever more demanding labour market.

Brent Council

Brent Council has been exceptionally supportive to New Challenge over a period of 10 years and currently, Brent In2 Work, the recruitment & training arm of Brent Council’s Policy & Regeneration unit provides New Challenge with funding to deliver job brokerage support and customised training to unemployed residents in some of the borough’s most deprived communities.

Through Brent Council’s continued support over the past decade, New Challenge’s small team of dedicated professionals has placed over 1,500 unemployed borough residents into sustained employment

London Development Agency/European Social Fund

New Challenge is being funded by the LDA/ESF to deliver an exciting numeracy programme between August 2008 and 2010, to support unemployed Londoners with the essential numeracy skills to improve their day-to-day lives and help meet the demands of employers.

New Challenge was funded through round one of the LDA/ESF co-financed Opportunities Fund, to deliver Level 2 IT training and employment support to 300 Londoners. These highly successful projects were delivered with our partners, the College of North West London, CITE and Camden IteC.

Prospects
