We are happy to announce our new programme – Careers in Hospitality which is funded by European Social Fund and supported by the Mayor of London to support people to access jobs in the dynamic hospitality sector, an important and growing part of the London economy that presents many different opportunities and career paths.
For maximum effectiveness, we will work with you on a one-to-one basis and the programme provides support in the following areas, all aimed at helping you to develop a career in hospitality:
- Personalised one-to-one careers information, advice and guidance (IAG)
- Identifying your skills/transferable skills
- Professional CV design geared towards the hospitality sector
- Employability skills support
- Support to improve your hospitality skills and accessing further learning opportunities with referrals to partner organisations
- Identifying employment opportunities within the hospitality sector
In addition to the tailored personal support described, we also work closely with training partners who can provide you with free training opportunities and support packages to help you get a job in this thriving sector.
Training opportunities include:
- Introduction to Culinary skills
- Introduction to Food and Beverage Service
- Introduction to Bakery & Pastry
- Barista skills
- Level 2 and level 3 Food Hygiene and Safety in Catering
