A Fantastic Start for Our New Mental Health First Aid & Advocacy Cohort

Last Tuesday, we had the privilege of welcoming a new group of twelve learners as they began their journey on the NCFE Level 2 in Mental Health First Aid & Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace course.

From the very first session, the group demonstrated an inspiring level of commitment and enthusiasm. Guy, our Head of Learning, was particularly impressed by their engagement with the course content and the positive group dynamic that quickly formed. This created a safe and supportive space for open, thoughtful, and often lively discussions around mental health in the workplace.

It’s always encouraging to see learners come together with a shared purpose—to better understand mental health and to develop the skills needed to support others. As the course progresses, this group will gain valuable knowledge and practical tools to make a meaningful difference in their workplaces and communities.

We are truly excited to support them throughout their journey.

A special thank you goes to Vikas and his colleagues at Brent Jobcentre Plus for their ongoing support in promoting this opportunity, and to Chalkhill Community Centre in Wembley Park for hosting us so warmly.
