At New Challenge, nothing means more to us than hearing how our courses have made a real difference in someone’s life. Over the past few weeks, as part of our regular follow up with learners, we have been overwhelmed by the kindness and honesty in the comments we have received. We simply had to share a few with you.
One learner, who completed her course while working as a Welfare Officer, told us it had been “a pleasure to learn” and thanked the whole team for their support along the way. Another shared how the counselling course had opened her eyes to what the experience is like from the other side of the room, and confirmed knowledge she already carried with her.
We heard from learners who have gone on to secure new jobs, from others who are volunteering with organisations supporting the homeless and vulnerable, and from several who told us the course gave them the confidence to keep studying further. One learner summed it up simply: she is now “ready and motivated” for her biggest challenge yet, securing her first paid job in the UK.
These are not just words to us. They are proof that the work we do, together with our incredible tutors and the Greater London Authority, is helping real people move their lives forward.
